Pub Games Room Licences
(7 comments: Threaded, Flat)
I have a country pub with a traditional games room - pool/darts/bandit, revenue from this has been tailing off over the past few years and I am thinking of other uses. I've costed everthing up including IGUK membership etc, fire regs, H&S, soundproofing etc but am stuck with the licence side of things. my original idea was two large screens (50 & 42) with an Xbox, PS3 and Wii but from my search through these forums it seems that only Xbox can be licenced through IGUK and then there has to be one on free play and it's not clear if you are required to have a minimum amount of machines. I could run a third machine on free play with a small screen at a standup location but that would be the limit as the room really isn't big enough for any more.
